Whispers of Aria!
Whispers is a Kami Zoraï guild, the child of a merge two years ago between The Kami Da and Ryzing Souls. Our peak times are EU & US evenings, and weekends.

We're a very laid back and informal group - our rules are non-existant, our only expectation of our members is to act maturely and show respect to other players. We're open to pretty much any play style - we'll support guildies in whatever aim or hobby they choose for themselves, and will always try to include everyone in whatever we're doing.

Nothing is compulsory, and if you wish to opt out of a hunt, boss run, OP etc. then you'll probably suffer several attempts to convince you to come and join the fun; but if you prefer to do something else, we will (begrudgingly) accept that (while still trying to convince you that you'd have more fun wherever everyone else is).

Ensuring that everyone has someone to play with whenever possible is a big priority, and we usually have at least one team out killing or trekking, or somesuch. If there isn't a team going, those who are online are always happy to join a new one - all it takes is someone suggesting an idea.
On the other hand, if you really are a Vrix-- um, diehard soloer, all you have to do is make a macro to say "No thanks, I'd rather dig" ;)

To elaborate on the OP and PvP point - most of our members attend OPs; however, if you dislike PvP, or are RP-neut, that's not a problem in Whispers. All members are encouraged to join fame runs in order to gain access to kami TPs, to make logistics easier, but if you prefer to stay out of factional politics and wars, that's fine.

While we aren't an RP guild, we are happy to welcome RPers - however guildchat and teamchat should not be expected to be IC.

We have access to equipment of any sort (or, if you prefer, names of crafters for you to ask) as well as XP catalysers - we currently own a q250 OP in the Void, and have good trading relationships with other guilds. As such, if as a guildie you find yourself wanting of anything in that respect, it's probably because you haven't asked for it. :D
I'm also contractually obliged to say this:
WhoA! Whispers are the best guild on Atys!
Thankyou Terre.

If you're think you're batty enough for us, contact any of the following:
Leader: Nysha
High Officers: Ajluos, Linkys, Shruikan, Sygma, Ysquanir, Deadelf
Officers: Ptolmea, Zenon, Viven, Moonlightmist, Zyratuan, Izzirra

Or send an email.

And we shall do our utmost to confuse and de-sane-ify you

Nope, though he popped up and yelled "Hey I'm back!!!!" a few weeks ago, then vanished again.
I included everyone, inactives too, to save myself the joy of deciding who does and doesn't count as active right now :p

With the greatest respect to the Whispers Guild do these two sentences go together?

"We're a very laid back and informal group - our rules are non-existant, our only expectation of our members is to act maturely and show respect to other players. We're open to pretty much any play style - we'll support guildies in whatever aim or hobby they choose for themselves, and will always try to include everyone in whatever we're doing."

And

"Nothing is compulsory, and if you wish to opt out of a hunt, boss run, OP etc. then you'll probably suffer several attempts to convince you to come and join the fun; but if you prefer to do something else, we will (begrudgingly) accept that (while still trying to convince you that you'd have more fun wherever everyone else is)."

Just an Observation

It makes sense if you look at from the right perspective ;)
We always want guildies to join in the fun, and will try to convince them to do so; but if they don't want to, fair enough. You have to start from the assumption that we are generally not serious about anything.
