From having experienced Kitin Patrols during the event yesterday, I think at least 12 players are needed to take down one patrol, and you have to pray that you don’t end up with 2 patrols at once. This means that we likely need 20+, with half in dig gear ready to heal and dig. Thus I’d ask that for each digger who comes, please try to bring a friend/guildie whom is willing to defend. Hopefully we have a group a fair bit larger than 20

We can adjust the plan and repeat this often. I see this as a first attempt to experiment and learn.

Just fyi, I was warned once with regard to something I posted, somehow similar to the first post, since it could be considered a spoiler. Mine was removed without notice, maybe you want to reconsider yours?

Not that it is not public info, but policy used to be not to allow them (or tag them with a "spoiler warning")

UPDATE:

The first attempt at this was a learning experience. We learned just how hard it is for one team to handle a Kitin Patrol. Simply put… one full team can’t. We did not have enough attendance to do this.

The next time today is 11pmEST(3GMT) and I hope to get at least 2 full teams. Some are thinking you need 2 teams to handle the patrols so we need 20+ for there to be anyone digging.

Location Change
The Sunken City TP has 4 different patrols passing by it constantly. I picked it because it has the Kara and Kami TP close to each other, but it’s not a good location it would seem.

We shall instead meet at the Dyron Kami TP, then go to US. In this way even people with no PR TPs can be included.

I think peeps have been wussing out a bit too much. What is a little DP when you're having a blast ? I propose we do the same next season change when all the super nodes are depleted.

Maybe then they will be more encline to hire our bodyguard services. Gnah !

Note : I've always been scared of PR and still am, but it seems some people are even more affraid than me ! o.O
