Been there

Ok.
I have read all the "fixes" regarding certain errors etc, none have fixed my issue, I clean ALL info (yep I mean ALL) from my system related to RYZOM I downloaded the latest file -- it runs -- it downloads the patches --- then dies in the butt -- well it gives me the same error each time something to do with the update..if I could attach a picture of the issue I would but I don't seem to be able to right now.
Something to do with error 30 or error 17 (not sure as it gives me two) the test inside the error message is this "Can't execute 'updt_nl.bat':code=17 file exists (error code 30)"....I really need help with this ..I did have a virus and cleaned my system...failing that a clean system install is next on the agenda I think BUT anyone know why I MIGHT be getting this error ????????????????????????????????????????????? :( :( :( :confused: :confused:

EDIT I have however posted this elsewhere but no replies so I decided to place it on the "front"

Seems like you tried everything so....

make sure to remove updt_nl.bat from ryzom folder if it's there....
... and then try uRDM (java needed). select full install and point it to your existing Ryzom folder.

It should patch you right to v1.4.0 (todays patch). exit on 'client.cfg' screen so you keep the old settings.

OK thanks I'll try that, I need to thourghly clean my system but I'll also give it a try as well :)
