Ryzom

Hi Guys,

well i mentioned something in another thread that tempted me to write something. Well here goes...

I know marketing a game can cost alot of money, and usually its money development teams dont have. So here is a thread in order to come up with some touch your imagination and lets create a way to give a buzz around Ryzom, a way in which will allow word of mouth to spread in the form of a fire.

I am sure we have many clever heads on Atys, lets bring these together in order to make the population grow.

I mean "posting in formums" is a bit dead in the water...lets get our thinking caps on. A few small idea could be;
- an Ad banner for sites that would put it up for free.
- Any graf artists that fancy putting of something in a place where it will be seen "www.ryzom.com"
- On the back of the toilet door (this one is more a joke)


Now lets all think and if possible lets do.

Honestly - I think the time to get people to try the game is now... while its free (make sure they know it wont stay free eternally) But, an extended free trial, and access to the mainland, Instead of feeling ripped off when they leave Silan... ( I really think Silan needs some work, Make it more like the mainland, Or atleast warn people of whats to come).. They will come and hopefully enjoy the mainland...

Perhaps enough of them will like it/level up enough, they wont want to leave when it goes paid
