P.S.: I seriously doupt that any system could be "too advanced" for Ryzom
A possibility lies in Beta-Drivers for your Graphic-Card though. Checked these?

Like Acridiel said, you might try to log in to CeB, so the CSR might help you more easily...

(I noticed firewalls really hate MMO's, so alt-tab helps to check if your firewall needs attention...)

You definitely got the wrong loginserver in your config. (It's the old one)
You need to run the fix, or download the latest version available of the game.
(I don't have the link, though. You will find relevant info in the forums.)
