Because of a reply I did on another thread, I got curious about the majority of you guys as to what kind of PC you have (or more like how powerfull it is).

Just by know how old is your PC and what video card technology you are using is a pretty good indicator to this thread's purpose.

- Video Card : Asus Nvidia Geforce 9600GT 512Mo
- RAM : DDRII Twin channel (6Go)
- Hard Drive : 500Go (SATAII 10K rpm)

The one I use for second account is 4 years old and has :

- Processor : Intel Pentium IV @ 3,0 Ghz

- Video Card : Asus Nvidia Geforce 8600GT 512Mo (upgrade)
- RAM : DDR Twin Channel (2Go)
- Hard Drive : 2x 300 Go (SATA 7K rpm)

and I don't use my other computers to play anymore... :P

Built mine about a year and a half ago. Using dual monitors, I play Zom on the big one, 19" widescreen.
Intel C2D 2.4 Ghz
nVidia GeForce 8800GTS
2 Gigs DDR2

I used to play on a single core 1.6 Ghz, 700 Meg RAM and a GeForce 5600(?). Ran perfectly, although it's so much prettier now.

I made mine ready for uni this year.

- Processor : AMD Phenom 9950 BlackEdition @ 2.6Ghz (OC'd to 2.8 Quad Core)
- MoBo : Asus M3N-HT Deluxe
- Video Card : 2 * ATI Radeon 4870 X2
- RAM : DDRII Twin channel (8Gb, 1066Mhz)
- Hard Drive : 2TB (SATAII 10K rpm in RAID 0)
- OS: Windows Vista Buisiness 64-Bit
- Monitor: 2 * 24" Acer P243w

It plays Ryzom quite well.

I built mine about 6 years ago by slowly replacing a piece here and there. Last time I changed something was replacing my 350w power supply with a 500W PCI + going from mid tower to full tower with 2 fans (sloooooowwwwlllllyyyyyy planning to change system).

AMD Athlon 3000XP+
ATI Radeon 9600XT AGP
motherboard MSI-6712 KT4V-L
2gb memory
80Gb drive + 250Gb Drive
small speakers, not using a microphone (although I have one)

On it I have Windows XP(for what I can't use in Linux), Ubuntu 8.04 (office), Ubuntu 8.10(Personal), Fedora 10(for fun)

I'm in desperate need of repacing it but got no $$$ :-(
