The Christmas Presents spawn

OK, I guess the main thing is thanks for the event, any event is a good one at this stage, I would just like to express a couple of thought on it if I may.
1. People are hoovering these up like Dysons on crack, personally I search for the spawns, take 3 gifts and leave the rest for others, if Im early enough, I get a nice selection to choose from. But the spawns are so intermittent, that many players seem to be getting nothing, so please try to exhibit a bit of christmas cheer and just take a few from each spawn.
2. There are ways to circumvent this, as I have seen in other games.
a. Make mobs have a % chance to drop a random present, either in the loot box or on the ground.
b. Make the mobs drop tokens, to be presented to NPC's, with each present needing a certain number of tokens.
c. Make the mobs drop eg. letters that spell a word like XMAS or SANTA etc. where complete sets of words can be presented to a NPC for a gift (this also fosters trade between players to get full word sets).
3. The candy canes should be give out more fairly IMO, announce an NPC will be in a capital city between certain times, where as many cane as are needed, will be given out, nobody will need more than one so make them untradeable, but dont be so stingy.

As an owner of a set of original xmas 2004 candy sticks, I do not believe that these things should be untradable. In fact, I think next year they should put in something different than candy sticks, and give those away. And yes, people will need more than one, so they can give some to their friends who can't get online at the handout moments.
Also, for the christmas presents themselves... The boxes should come in more colors than just blue, I'd love to see them have some extra shiny as well (like the omg shiny trees). They should contain the other types of "eggs" as well (and the eggs should be renamed, it's not easter...), like the sap eggs, and all the different qualities. Then, please, lower the bulk a bit on these things, they fill up the inventory pretty fast, it's not very convenient to keep them for long times (for when you need them). Make them tradable as well. An lastly, instead of doing a full spawn of all presents every so many hours, make the present stream spawn smaller amounts of the whole present lot over time (spawn only a percentage of all the boxes every few minutes or something). This would make it less of a *wait for spawn* *kill em all* grind, and presents would be findable at all times, instead of just for the spawncampers.

I also think that candy canes should be tradeable. Furthermore, there shouldn't be anything in the game that is untradeable.

Except for pre-order shields, teleporter tickets (although it was rather fun trading them for high prices at a certain point in beta), csr items and newbieland character-creation items (or you'll see people create dummy characters just to get more wondermats).

My idea on making the untradeable is to stop people grabbing lots and wasting GM's time asking for extras.
If there is an announcement with plenty of notice then that should be enough for people to get online to get their own Canes.
If the bulk is a problem, then dont take so many

Just put an 'unique' flag on specific items, so people can't get more than one.

i agree. devs should just put candy cane, few stacks of wonder mats and a la set to every characters bag so it would be fair.
those items would not be unique or a reward anymore, but... seems that nobody cares.

There are loads of prezzis, they respawn too!
