I tried the game a couple of years ago but didn't stay but I am thinking of coming back and giving it another go as I am looking for something a bit different and this game still has the best skill and crafting systems I have found.

What I was interested in knowing is what the population levels are like on Arispotle, will I be coming back to a dead world?

I don't get much chance to play at weekends so I am mostly on in the late evenings during the week, with a lot of games I found this is a bit of a dead time and it's a stuggle to find folks to chat/group with.

Your best bet is to look for an active guild to join from the sounds of it, there are a few high activity guilds on Ryzom that would probaly suit your play times, head on over to the guildforums and contact some of them.

I guess it depends on when your evening is. =)

I tend to be on from about 9-10pm until about midnight UK time.

That's not too bad a time, should still be some Europeans up and the Americans start pouring outta work around then too.

That's the start of the most active period in my experience - annoying, because I can't generally afford to still be awake at midnight
