One day Sasi was wasting time reading forums and wasting way too much time composing her lengthy and overly verbose responses, when she was struck by a thought. (Cue gong sound.)

"Why don't we put up a post about our guild? Maybe somebody out there would like to hear all about PF and maybe even think about joining?"

Now, PF is a small, close family and not prone to inviting new members on a whim, so rather than toss out a general invite to one and all, she considered carefully what to say or whether it was even a good idea, or maybe if it was one of those ideas like the time she decided to run naked through Heretic's Hovel and try to frighten the torbaks with her funky tan lines.

Since PF is not hardly a dictatorship, she even asked some High Officers what they thought she should say.

Jezzer said,

"Are you searching for new home on Atys? Do you find yourself standing without any clothes on for long periods of time by the stables? Run in circles around friends? Mektoub race across Prime Roots? Do you think you can heal someone beyond their actual HP limit by spam healing them until you have to sit down to regain your HP/SAP? NO? Well do you want an entire guild to help you out with such mischief? Search no further. Pegasus Foundation is recruiting. We are a small guild in search of unique players who value friendship and respect above all and then maybe the rest is full of sillyness.

Pegasus Foundation is a Karavan guild, based in Yrkanis. We have many friends in both factions, although we stand with our Karavan allies in battle. We tend to look past politics to have fun with whomever we chose. In our guild, we treat everyone as equals and try our best to help one another. We are all easy going casual players, we know everyone has a life, and do not have unrealistic expectations. We have weekly meet ups with guild members and bring along friends in on our hunts/explorations. Player levels do not limit your ability to team in our guild. We have plenty of members who are willing and enjoy playing at lower levels.

Pvp, Pve, guild events, role playing, storyline events, kitin battles, boss hunts, digging expeditions, exploration; our guild is what we make it."

To which Sammo replied,

"Gas! wheres the G-A-S!?!?!?
I would add...

'Does the thought of xploding and killing your CP budy while sipping drunken plant beer make you wanna cry with joy?'"

Now Jezzer appreciated that thought, and shot back,

"haha sounds a bit evil.. how bout..

'do you explode your nodes while guzzling down drunken plant juice? does your cp buddy experience your wrath? have you ever maxed out on DP?.. if so.. we think you are the chosen one!'

hahah i dunno."

At that point Sasi decided that maybe the High Officers were not really the best people to ask, and besides, the most diplomatic and level headed ones were off being busy with Real Life (shudder) and couldn't be reached for comment.

So she squinted her eyes and scratched her head, and finally came up with this:

"Pegasus Foundation is an old and storied guild, dating from the first week Ryzom existed (plus a couple of years extra in another game before that). Times change, faces change, but PF is still here. At this time we are a smallish guild, but one with many friends all over Atys, and our little family is a great place to be. We are mostly mature (OK, that's a lie, but we are physically aged beyond childhood), most of us have jobs, families, responsibilities, and we don't get to play 18 hours a day like we would prefer, but we are active, knowledgable, and well-connected.

We treat each other and everyone else with respect, help each other to the utmost of our ability, and never forget that we are here to have fun.

We would be happy to hear from people who like the sound of that kind of guild, and think they could fit in with the family. We don't intend to be a power-guild (whatever that is) but a few more people at the party never hurt, right?"

For more information or to get together with us for some good times and getting to know you, contact Sasi, Jezzer, Sammo, Pharamos, Nyveah, Phormagos, Tankcdog, Olepi, Oscarian, Meagon, or Blackavar. Or any other PF member you happen to see, for that matter.
