Would love to be there, but 1 am GMT is 3 am for Western Europe, and considering that's the time the event starts and it's probably going to last an hour at the least.... Sorry, my schedual doesn't allow that much stretching. :o

Do you really mean 1am? That's going to be more than a bit late for almost everyone in Europe, who make up a hefty proprotion of Aris.

9 am in West Australia, yeah, but who lives there? :p

Problem is there's a 8-hour night that you have to put somewhere on the world, and the oceans aren't wide enough. You can sort of include the three largest population centers of English players (western europe, eastern Australia and eastern US) if one of them is willing to get up at 9 am while another stays up past midnight. But it's still always going to be impossible for one of the 'secondary' populations.

Put the night on the Pacific and it's going to be too early for the western US or too late for eastern Australia. Put the night on the Atlantic and it's going to be too early for western Europe or too late for the eastern US. Put it on the Indian and it's going to be too early for western Australia or too late for eastern Europe, not to mention all the players living between those zones.

So yeah, you have to exclude one. Usually this fate falls upon the smaller populations, but it hardly seems fair to do that always.
