Question regarding training on the ML

Now, I think I know the answer to my question but I don't like it so I'm going to ask the more experienced folks around.

I started a Fyros character as my first homin on Atys, after playing for a week or so, mainly focusing on my crafting my gf got interested in playing as well. We rolled a set of Trykers and we're really enjoying playing together but I have my first character doing all our crafting since it's already far more along.

Now, we like the look of the Fyros armors but I'm afraid that if I take all the toons to the ML in Tryker lands that I won't be able to continue training my Fyros crafting as far as higher quality armor goes. I'm looking to get all the MA and Caster patterns before I leave the starter island but was concerned that I would be stuck at Q40 or so once I head to the ML. I don't want to start over with Tryker patterns.

Could someone confirm or deny my fears for me please.

Thanks in advance for all the help :D

All you need to do is trek to the Fyros lands and buy the upgrades there. You could even just go straight there from Silan.

There's absolutely no limit to what you can craft on the mainland, it just requires a little extra work to access the different trainers when you first start out. Trekking is fun though, you shouldn't have any trouble getting people to show you around. =)

Thanks a bunch for the answer. Sounds like looking for an escort might be in the cards soon enough :P
