Have a monthly contest, where new players or groups of new players design something new.

- design a new NPC
--- if he supplies new missions, which ones and what are the prices ?
--- design the artwork
--- give it a name and a place to travel

- design a new structure
--- static structure or dynamic (it has parts moving, has motion, ... )
--- a decorative structure ?
--- a housing structure ?
--- a transportation structure ?
--- design the artwork
--- give it a place to be

- design a new MOB/threat/ennemy
--- friendly or threat ?
--- lonely or in groups ?
--- design the artwork
--- where should it be and how should it travel ?
--- design its behaviors

- any other content possible in Ryzom

Why ?
- to get advice from the dev team
- to get help from the dev team
- to have your creation permanently included into Ryzom
- to get experience in game design
- to get experience in game scenario
- to get experience in texturing/3d design if the team choses to do a full creation and not let the dev team design it
- get your name mentioned on Ryzom and other gaming sites



p.s. We are not talking about Ring design. We are talking about a single entity or single game content.

Many of these are fine ideas but are more along the lines of suggestions for ways the community can be more involved in the development of the game, rather than how the community can contribute to the marketing of the game.

But how many games out there allows the community to contribute (not make a game MOD to be played in a seperate world)? This would increase the sense of participation and would potentialy attract new players with skills, player that feel other games they have played are missing things but no one is listening.

So in a way, it could act as a marketing tool. Is is true that this also falls into suggestions but ...

Since no one seams interested into this idea and that I do not have time for this, please change the title to include [Closed].
