thread rating

I see some threads get 5 stars and such. I was just wondering, how do they get rated. Who does it? Can I do it? (And if yes, how?)

Every registered user can do it (here, have some :D ), not sure about trial accounts.
If you can do it, you should see a "Rate Thread" button at the top right of this thread, between "Search this Thread" and "Display Modes". Keep in mind you can't change your rating once it's been cast, too.

We hardly use the feature seriously though, and personally I don't even pay attention to it at all, the stars you see are mostly just people who felt like being random. :p

Aww, then I can't do it :( .

And I wanted to rate a few RP threads so I could express my appreciation without disturbing the stories with replies.

Cool, an actual use for it.

The threads will still be there to rate if they get billing back up. And you can always send the writer a PM telling them how much you like their story. :)
