User-Made Advertising Banners (etc)

This is taken from the idea of running a competition for the new Ryzom banner - we use our own Atys graphic designers, or aspiring designers, to come up with banners/other advertising media to dot around personal websites, forums and such. Because who else better to advertise Ryzom to new players than the players themselves?
To organise it, we'd just need somewhere to store all the things made, so server space really, and volunteers with a love for Ryzom and some ability to design! And because practice makes perfect, everyone would be welcome to contribute. People could then take the advertising media from the website set up, not unlike the boxes of code people supply to embed things in other websites, linking back to Ryzom.
Before it'd start, we'd just need a couple of people willing to help, with others appearing as time went on. I know I for one would be very willing to knock up a couple of banners etc and see how that goes.
It'd be an on-going project, constantly updating with Ryzom updates, people having new ideas, new players joining in the project and so on and so forth.
Users would be recruited as they get ideas... credit given to those who contribute etc. It'd probably be an ever changing list, but I already have a couple of people saying "Maybe" to the idea.
Timeline is: Concept work (anyone could contribute to this, even those who don't design - as long as it's a good idea!), Creation of the Work, Publishing onto the Web.
The best example of this idea is that banner competition, as previously mentioned. We have such good graphic artists within the community, all willing to help, why not ask them to help the community even more by attracting new people? You wouldn't have to sign up indefinitely either - just submit some ideas when/if you get them.
If you have anything else to mention/suggest etc, feel free to send me a Tell. Constructive criticism is always welcome and it'll hopefully improve everything
EDIT: Mock website done in a couple of minutes, so you get the idea: http://www.fj-designs.co.uk/ryzom
