The foundation of Outhouse Tribe.
Welcome to Outhouse Tribe. OT is the home for Homins from all walks of life and all parts of the green planet. Our aim is to remain at the forefront of centres of learning, teaching and research.
The Outhouse Tribe flag is a symbol of pride. "The fist represents the unity of arms of our homin community, a community that encompasses homins from all backgrounds, races, and civilization origins and that spans the panoply of faiths and experience." Our tribal flag also is the Diversity flag--one around which all homins can rally who prize and celebrate the rich and wonderful diversity hominity presents.
The tribe was founded in 2485 by surviving refugees when the homin cultures united to rebuild a single mixed society in a relatively remote area. Our forefathers wanting to promote the spirit of our diversity, sharing of ideas, information and resources to help build a world where all people can live free, dignified and productive lives separated from the widespread tribes and founded the first alternative life style (gay) tribe.
Outhouse Tribe is build from homins with diverse talents and interests, who are dedicated to the exploration and healing of the homin seed, body and soul and to building a culture that advances our ability to choose, grow and create whilst celebrating our unique community. Our mission is to realize a vision of the possible for hominity.

OT is open for recruitment. Our only requirement is that you be LGBT (gay) or LGBT friendly. We welcome all types of gamers, PvPers, PvErs, and roleplayers. Our main goal is to explore Atys, learn the gameplay, and have fun. If you seek the challenge of joining a young Ryzom guild and have no intensions on power-leveling, as well as no issues with the guilds uniformity, then we are the guild for you. The Ryzom community is one of the most welcoming and open minded group of gamers Ive had the pleasure of encountering. I wished there were more games with dedicated gamers like the ones Ive met in Ryzom. You guys make this game a great place to be. Because of this great community I cant stop talking to friends and anyone that will listen about Ryzom. Having done that some have decided to give Ryzom a try and weve created Outhouse Tribe. Yes, we are a group of Gaymers that enjoy video games but above all we enjoy good gaming and Ryzom has all the qualities of a great MMO. So, we are slowly making Ryzom our new gaming home. Some of us are coming from EQ2, CoH/CoV, and others games, and other OT members are actually playing MMOs for the first time ever, making Ryzom their first experience. We are a mix bunch as diverse as the colors of the rainbow.
The idea of OT is to welcome LGBT gamers to a guild where they can be themselves and find the support of like minded gamers. It is my goal to make OT a safe heaven for LGBT gamers. I dont expect everyone to be understanding of our identity, and Im sure well encounter some bad apples in the community; well deal with them as they come and without mercy. We may be flaming queens but we are also hardcore gamers. We come here to play and play hard (no pun intended); after all we are all gamers.
For the moment Ive not made any decision on our faction affiliation, Id like for us to remain neutral until our tribal council can be established. As I understand neutrals lack the required fame with the factions therefore cant make pacts to port to higher level areas and the prime roots, though not limited to trekking to such areas. Since we are freshly rinsed out from Silan we have more than enough time to make a decision.
Id like to make some contacts, meet friendly guilds that can help us with weapons and armors. Of course I dont mean give me free stuff, what Id like is to build a friendship where OT can team up and help gather the materials needed for these items or any other idea that both guilds can agree upon. I preferred OT stays independent by foraging and crafting our own items, but maintaining a balance of these skills along with the combat skills is impossible, and as I grow in levels finding proper gear and weapons in merchants is impossible. Building some type of alliance with another friendly guild is the best option for us. And Id like to think that a young guild can be welcome in Ryzom and make it.
So, here is our unofficial post to let those who are seeking OT where we are located and also to welcome possible new friends. We dont have a site yet, but Im working on it.
