hiya! imagine my delight one day browsing through mmorpg.com to find another ryzom replacement, i click the ryzom page just for nostalgia's sake and i see 'news: free accounts' and i think 'surely its old, must be august 07 or something'... but NO!! i hear ryzom is back after gameforges banckruptsy!

naturaly i log into my account on the website to check it exists and it certainly seems to!
im downlaoding the client right now (possibly done by the time youve read this) and i doubt my old guild is still alive :'(
so im hopeing to get straight into the swing of things and find a UK baced guild, mainly because of timezones and stuff, but english-speaking or european would be nice 2! (anything would be nice realy)

its just my first order of buisness for any game is to get in a guild, makes gameplay far more fun i find.
in general, im a social person and im often more then willing to drop whatever im doing to come help out
of course i will be sooo happy to be taken by anyone who wants me.
i think my main character is a tryker called miazumi, but it was that long ago i realy cant remember!

I know a guild might be your prioirity but I would spend some time in deciding on which guild you would want to join, your experiances can be very much different depeinding onwhich guild you may join, how active the guild is etc.

Take a little time to look at the guilds, talk to players and see what suits you best. Welcome to Atys, I hope you find the game and guild that you are looking for.

this is of curce a fair comment, i had a look at exodus gaming and it all looks a bit too... hardcore. i like to play for fun and i look at some of the pro's of bieng in the guild and most of them are about bieng top rated,
not saying theres anything wrong with that, but its not realy the kind of guild for me.
Scorp your right of course, i should probably get the client installed before i jump into the guil ladders. but on the other hand i realise that forums are sometimes slow and posting ahead is allways advisable,
i looked at the list of guilds and there seems to be a good few going still. but i think maybe asking in world chat would probably work better.

Divine Council of Pyr is a mostly UK guild, we have a lot of fun with a great diversity of levels, 20 to 250, we have about 25 members, so its small enough to be intimate but large enough to field a couple of teams for levelling purposes on a nightly basis.

I definitely suggest learning more about the game before you make any "hasty" decisions.

Consider what else you are looking for in a guild, other than english language.

Are you going to be looking for PvP eventually, PvE, Roleplaying, etc. Do you want a family friendly guild, a more mature guild, and so on. If you find you need any questions answered, you can send me a message : /tell Keiko or further more, just ask in the universe chat.

However I'd join the rest in advising you to take a look around first + it is quite possible that your old guild ain't dead. Quite a few old guilds have come back to the world of the living recently. Which one was it btw?

ah see heres the thing! i actualy have no idea.
i know personaly that witch faction i chose for PVP doesnt bother me an awefull lot, i did a bit from both sides back in 07.
ive been in-game a while now and after chatting to a few people ive joined Divine Council of Pyr, thanks to all for taking intrest!

well looks like I'll be starting from scratch since I dont even know what my old acct info is/was anyway , so I guess I had too start a new one lol
