Error Code 1 (I'm not sure what else to do)

Well I was playing the game fine. Then, my internet went out. The game sat there forever saying "Please wait" after about 10 minutes, I forced it to shut down.

Now, when I try to log in it says "Can't Connect". I thought perhaps the server needed to update so I waited.. It's been about half an hour and I'm not exactly sure what to do now.. I already have the ports forward and stuff to get it to work earlier. Nothing particular has changed.

EDIT: Perhaps this will help.

if you see "Error Code 1", but you have internet - check your firewall and antivirus, may be someone blocked access to internet for Ryzom Application...

Normally, that would be my first instinct. However I already have it disabled from earlier. When I first downloaded the game earlier, I disabled everything in order to play. And it worked. I played for an hour, maybe two. Then my internet went out. Once it was back up, and I tried to enter the game thats when the trouble started.

I've checked to be sure the firewall was still off, and the ports were still forwarded, but still nothing.

I don't know what happened in the few minutes my internet was down, but whatever it was changed something on my end and I'm having trouble figureing out what.

EDIT: Well I Re-Installed and it was working again, until my internet went out again... This time, instead of forcing it to quit, I let it just sit there until it shut itself down. However again, when I tried to log in it said Error Code 1, So I'm assuming when my internet blinks while in game, a variable or file is being corrupted. If I could locate which file it was, it would make things much easier updating that individual file, instead of having to re-install everything.

Are you running the game on Vista? If so, check this thread. Sounds like your issue could be a lack of admin rights.

I guess maybe that is what I did as well. I think I clicked on the DEFAULT button in the ryzom config.exe file. Is there anyway to get the game back to a playable state if I did that? Or do I need to reinstall?
