possible event pyr - ctf

I'm kind of uncertain this event would come off as the numbers required would have to be 30+ per side to make it work but here goes.

good old capture the flag ryzom style.

kami flag will be near the trainers close to kami tp
kara flag will be in the guild magistrates room right on the opposite side

the idea is to get the oppositions flag back to your own base, the flag will be myself and 1 volenteer (both untagged ofc). the idea is to get your team/player close enough to me to say "come with me" in around. Flag will then follow that player at a walk and needs to be escorted back to your base.

special rules -
teams can take their own flags back to their home base if the opposition leaves them standing.
no aggro in pyr so clerly no need to worry bout dragging
flags will not leave pyr, so no sneaking out of the gate
this will have to be factional as no other pvp possible in pyr (sorry neutrals :( )
no smack

event will be balanced with teams being pre-registered to create fair sides

prizes,

possible if enough people sign up I'll throw an aen in for the actual person who captures the flag, smaller prizes for his/her team. Otherwise I'll either charge for team registration and winning team takes all prizes. Donations ofc are always welcome.

feedback is welcome if you think I've missed something, CSR's wont give official support so its a case of relying on the community.

This sounds like it could be fun, count in one kara here if it's at a time I can attend. :)

But one major problem I see is that Kami players would respawn right in their base while Kara players would respawn way outside of Pyr. :( So the only way I can see this being fair is with a 'no respawning' rule.

Other than that, why do you think it'd need 30+ per side? I could see it work just as well with 10+.

How does the flag react if there's multiple players all saying "come with me" in around? First player to say it becomes the 'followed one' until they die, and then the first player to say it after that becomes the new 'followed one'?

30+ per side because of the nature of pyr, it could with 1 group end up the teams hardly meeting

flag follows first person - correct
flag follows this person till they drop

time to be confirmed, feedback on this especially welcome

I recognise kara at a disadvantage tp wise, tho their position is much easier to defend. althought I was thinking 5 more kara than kami might even it up I'm sure some would disagree and call it kara bias.

I think this is a great idea Jack :)
An idea to even up the unfairness of the respawn could be that once players respawn they have a "time out". This could be equal to the time it takes the kara players to run, or speed run, (although kara players may have already used it), from the kara tp to the gates of pyr? It'll mean having a referees at the kami tp to ensure fair play, and at the gates to ensure there's no shenanigans, but I'm sure homins would be willing to do this?
Just an idea, not sure if you could get it to work feasibly though.

thanks for input, the reason I didnt wanna introduce referee's is for simplicity, I'm not sure I'd want to slow the battle down by adding false restrictions but bar unequlising the teams I cannot see how I can equalise the kami advantage.

tbh I think more numbers = less of a problem with the spawns, a zerg by either side leaves them open for a single player to run through and take the other flag. creating it so only 1 full team can win on a faction also introduces some fun n games because they have to work together but are at the same time competing.

Sounds fun. An idea - could have the timeout be the time it takes to untag and retag. Should be enough time for karas to get from the spawn back to the city, and as long as everyone actually does it it'd make it hard to cheat.

takes 1 min for kara to reach magistrates room from tp
takes 5mins for walking flag to travel from base to base
