When I started playing again, I was happy to see my old playing characters still sitting there in my selection panel. But I fell a bit lost when I started playing with my main character. I felt there were a lot of things I wasn't too sure about or forgotten about the interface and my keyboard settings. So to make myself more comfortable, I decided one thing :

Restart from scratch. Re-create a new character and start from Silan. I figured it would be the best way to re-customize myself to the game.

So with that idea, I thought it would be interesting to see who else is restarting from scratch like me and why ?

i spend over 3 years in my char and i would never start from zero

I was too happy to restart my treks to think about new chars.... anyway i already have 2 alts very low and one live in Silan.

I spent too much time workin on my main toons to just wipe em out. And I already have lowies on silan If I feel havin fun there.

I already 95% abandoned my high, old character months before the servers went down. Currently I'm playing a character whose highest level by far is 108, and another who's got a couple at 50ish.

I'm still playing Nysh - had a few moments of "Umm... no, no I didn't forget that *slides the bodies under the rug*", but I'm slipping back into the flow of things nicely. And I have my Whispers back!

I ahve little time to play, and in more than one whole year only got 228 as hightest level, so I'll keep in my old char.

Sometime, in due time, I'll got the lvl250

My alt slots are all full, I have a selection of lowbies to play with if and when the urge strikes. (It hasn't yet, but sooner or later it will.)

At the moment, I'm quite busy with guild business, so abandoning my guildies to go spend time on a new character would be a bit selfish of me, I think. I relinquished full ownership of my own time when I agreed to serve my family. (Not that I'm complaining, I'm having a blast!)

I didn't restart at a lower level. I do have 1 low level alt if i want to play at low levels. But I just came back on Keiko.

I'm still trying to remember old thing. And it took me days before i could remember how to two step dig. And even then, I had Faa help me with my stanzas. And had another guildie help me remember what amount of mats I need for a good grind.

And I'm still trying to figure out how LA caster pants is 205, when i know for a fact I'm a HA crafter -_-

Heck, I still have so much to learn, even when I remember all that I knew before (not there yet) I'll still be a noob.
