Has anyone taken the Spread effect which is available to offensive mages at level 50? If so is it any good or are there any strategies that are particularly effective with it? I took it to be different (everyone else takes bomb) and although the description claims you can only hit 2 targets I have managed to till a whole herd of 5 capryini's with a single shot.

i assume its like the auto-launcher
fires in a "cone" infrount of you, so fnd mobs closly grouped togeather

ofcourse, once they al lagro its almost impossible to get them lined up again
