I thought it would be a good idea to have a single thread with links to vids and guides for people who have managed to stumble onto this forum. Game information and other things to give everyone an idea of what Ryzom is about.

It sounds like a good idea.
I was hooked by checking out the original Ryzom site a looong time ago, they had great videos and presented the story of the game in a very compelling way.
Im sure the dedicated fans of this game can do an even better job.

Well, first place to look is here, for some gorgeous pics of Atys.
As far as videos go, there are some old trailers from the VCA, Acri's videos, of course... I'm sure there are more to be found on YouTube, but I have this strange urge to get dressed before I have to go catch the train.

And don't forget the player made guides forum, and this little overview by Kethry.

Now that I'm back, and can remember how to spell the URL...
BM! Particularly the Skill Tree if you're interested, the map, the mob (fauna) and mats (crafting materials) databases, and the much-loved dressing room.

Damnit, now I'm planning yet another set of new HA...

can't believe I forgot everyone's friends at BM ;P
