Ryzom

He guys, i am back. You probably don't know me but I used to play on a different forum name called Knoote. My ingame name was Kelteel on the Arispotle server. I was in the guild "Pegagus Foundation". I didn't play very long because i went back to starwars galaxies. Well, that game is one big pile of garbage right now and i only returned then because of nostalgic reasons.

Anyway, i created this free trial to get a taste of what ryzom was like. A few things i liked very much are the seasons which where very nice to see. Also tree's waving in the wind, but a few other mmo's also have that now. But the main thing i loved about this game is the community which was very adult and strong.

I know the game is not very heavily populated. In SWG there are about 100 people on the server i played and that is just to low. Since Ryzom is hard to solo in the end ( i was lvl 150 2 handed mace but killing flowers was really not fun in the end ) i hope more people are online then 100.

Also, if i return i will again go to Arispotle and hope i can re-join pegagus foundation. But are other server more packed with players?

I think you're just plain unlucky... all servers are now down because the liquidation has been taking too long.

They will be brought back one day (we all hope) but we have no idea how much time it will take. (Between a few months to a full year... before the game can be sold and relaunched.)

Hope you'll still be around by then.

Bah, this is sad new. Well, I guess I just stay around and hope for the servers to come online again sometime. Ryzom is one of the best mmo's I played. To bad most people didn't know about the game when it was released long ago. I found out the game existed somewhere end 2005.

Bah, and I really wanted to walk around the lush forests and kill some "moo, moo" creatures (I forgot the names but they walk in herds).

If my memory serves, Kelteel was still in the guild roster when the world ended. When it fires up again, may that day come sooner than we fear, you will be welcome with open arms, whether with Kelteel or any other character.

In the meantime, PF is playing in other places. Come to the guild website and say howdy.
