have non-pvp events started happening?

before things died down myself and a few others were working on non-op events (outside of things like rp-parties). has the remaining community gone further in that direction? im hoping an alternative to op battles has been found. i remember op battles being deathly boring until you hit near max level so you could actually be more than a healer (not that healing is bad, "variety is the spice of life" though).
some stuff i remember people organizing.

nothing of late to be honest unless the factions have organised something on the quiet. OP's are only just sorta taking off with a very dialuted version of the politics that surround them. Faction PvP is non-existant with even supernodes being friendly affairs.
I think the percieved lack of numbers has put people off doing events etc but if anyone would have bothered to count the numbers they would see while alot of a old timers have left (and are slowly trickling back) there are many new faces.
so that said, if anyone wants to organise a non op related event I'd be happy to assist in planning/execution etc.

Ring is down, cant host the imba awesome incredible event i was planning/creating for ages.
(plus couldn't anyways due to AI bug : / )
Was a sad day when that bug started

Okay sure, i guess i dont exist O.o
We just had an event to blow up dyron - it was amazingly fun.
I'm setting up an event for something in the Saga Forums - its almost ready
One more event coming up after that one (Still top secret)
*glares at the top three posts* pff!! Ignore my events will you!

/me hopes the upcoming events will be at times I can make it. Wish I'd been at the blowing up.

OPer said "non-op" events
- sides, the BlowUpDyron was PvE and PvP - but mostly PvE with the PvPers doing more dying than fighting
