Cheers Acridiel!

While you produced another emotional and invigorating video, I wonder where you found that "Fyros Code".
First, the eight pillars boil down to only seven, as "justice" is mentioned twice.
Second,
while noble, the Fyros would take their own interpretation of "Freedom", as freedom is valued only for their civilization, definitely not as individual freedom, quite the contrary is fact (as you will see in a minute)
And while "Strength" is certainly a value every Fyros can agree upon, it's not part of any code I have heard of yet.
Lastly, and I have to oppose that one most forcefully, is "Faith". The Fyros are opposed to the Karavan for their restriction of exploring and exploiting the roots regions, and have, after careful consideration, come to accept the Kami, not as religious leaders, but as allies in their quest for truth. If I may direct you to a few scriptures, "Being a Fyros" has a very clear point of view on this matter:
The Fyros on Faith wrote:What do we believe in?
We believe in the energy of Atys, the energy that fills every being with life and conscience. According to the Zoraïs, the Kamis are a manifestation of that great energy that created the world which they call Ma-Duk. Though we refuse blind adherence to their teachings, over these last years we have become closer to the Kamis to escape Karavan sanctions for mining and underground exploration. To the Kamis we owe, if not our faith, our loyalty.

Now "Loyalty" is quite something different than "Faith", I hope you agree. As promised earlier, here's a bit on freedom, along with the four Pillars of The Empire:
The Fyros on Freedom wrote:Who is our chief?
Dexton is our lawful Emperor, you owe him your allegiance. His orders can only be debated in higher spheres. Until you have gained enough rank you will not contest them, never forget it, young homin ! You will carry out imperial orders with success or you die trying, unless you will willingly tarnish the name of your ancestors. Dexton has chosen the best to counsel him, Abycus Zekops and Kyla Dyntheus are his senators.
The Fyros on the Four Pillars of The Empire wrote: Your life must be built upon the four pillars that uphold our Empire:
Truth is the first pillar.
Cowardly lies will not deceive the cut and thrust of battle! Tell nothing but the truth to your comrades, just as they must give straightforward answers to your questions. Do not hesitate, however, to use the art of cunning in the face of the enemy. Stratagem used wisely is as dangerous a weapon as a sharp lance held firmly in hand!
Honor is the second pillar.
Let yourself be guided by honor no matter what. Never stoop to the minor sentiments, no matter how high the potential gain. And remember, an honorable death is better than a cowardly existence.
Discipline is the third pillar.
The Fyros empire exists thanks to the chain of obedience that links us to the Emperor, from the youngest novice to the most celebrated general. Each and every one of us must show obedience to higher command. Just one insubordinate Fyros is enough to break the link and so menace the whole Empire.
Justice is the fourth pillar.
The Emperor is our absolute chief, though even he must scrupulously obey the laws decreed by our ancestors. From the most powerful to the most humble, we respect our laws without compromise. In truth, then, it is not the Imperial Chief but the Imperial Law that dictates our conduct.

Again, "Obedience" is almost diametrically opposed to "Freedom", unless of course "Freedom as a people" is meant.

Too bad I couldn't make it to the filming, would have loved to help out as another Extra ;)

EDIT:
I overlooked Komissar mentioning the "double justice", and have been adding to this post far too long ;)

Weeell, all good points there, thank you.

But, the thing is, those "Essays" I narrate my Videos with, are supposed to be done "In-Charakter" by Lylanea Vicciona (my Main-Char.).
And while she claims to be quite knowledgeable of the other Races, she´s not above being a bit biassed or, simply missinformed.
She just writes down what she percives as the truth. ;)
And from personal experience, she "knows" that FAITH is highly regarded by these guys.
(At least on Leanon, Faction-PvP Anyone? :p )

Look at the other "Atys Secrets" works, for more such "mistakes" ;)

You´d gladly be welcome to correct her views InGame, in a nice RP-Session :D

Btw. uploading a corrected Version just now. Damn you Copy/Paste!! *shakes fist at PC*

I second Acri on that - he's right about faith 100%.

Let's just say greatthanks to a talented filmmaker (after he corrects the double justice of course) and thus rest the case :D
