Where's the Good Stuff ?

Ok with memory failing due to less playing time I have heavily relied on posts I / we made in the In-Game Guild Forum with links to posts on this forum in the game news sections and just stuff I figured out on my own. These includes recipes, stat ranges and other cool information. Recently a new guildie discovered the IG Forum and thought that deleting a message just deleted it from his computer / account. Suggestion: Limit such deletes to HO's or above in next patch.

I am trying to reconstruct this info as one of the things I been doing a lot of of late is recipe hunting. I always confined such efforts to things I had mastered but now am experimenting just for the fun of it. However, my nice little resource of what was possible is now gone since those messages were deleted in the IG Forum. For example, I had things in there like:

HA PF range is 40% to 60%
xx% precraft req'd for +3 Parry
xx% precraft req'd for +2 Parry
xx% precraft req'd for +1 Parry

LA PF range is 10% to 25%
xx% precraft req'd for +2 Dodge / Parry
xx% precraft req'd for +1 Dodge / Parry

MA PF range is 25% to 40%
xx% precraft req'd for +2 Dodge / Parry
xx% precraft req'd for +1 Dodge / Parry

I don't even remember if all are possible.....

Same for HPM range, Damage range, Parry / Dodge for each wep.

That I am trying to reconstruct. Not any secrets there, the ranges were posted by Ryzom staff on a news page after they were adjusted. Most of the precraft req'ts I picked off forum posts here or experimented on my own to find out.

If anyone has maintained their lists of forum links and wants to share, or would be willing to contribute to our library restoration, I would be most appreciative.

Thanks in advance........FyrosFreddy

Thanks Dolly......wonderful to see you BTW

How hard are these numbers I always wondered ?

I mean how close ya gotta come ? What does 99.6% Dodge or 98.6 do ?

BTW, one of the reasons I am asking for this is the search functions of the forum are not working, at least not for me. Any search I do comes back witha "Done" message at the status bar in my browser (Firefox) and a completely blank white page.

So if ya have the links to any of these old messages, I'm not being lazy, I just can't find them and ya help would be appreciated.

The numbers can be incredibly finicky, especially dodge/parry.
99.6% can yield the same result as 40%...

In some cases you can even get 100% precraft and not get the max value unless you used the right materials.

MA PF is 20%- 40%
100% req'd for +2 parry
100%+ req'd for +1 dodge

hehe, well no use giving away choice secrets, but yea as Sehraci said.. there IS a possibility of going over 100% - and this will nerf your stats.

(though i'm a weapons crafter, so um.. *shrug* )

I was never motivated enough to work out all the durabilities and weights. :o I have partial lists but I don't think they're worth posting here.

Some of the above values are exact, but some are only approximate. And as Seh said, precraft values can be weird and not always give the result you'd expect. Also with as many numbers as I have in this post, it's likely I made some mistakes. And then they could've changed some values since I recorded them without me knowing about it. In short, I can not be held accountable if your precraft values don't give the results that they should according to this list. :p

Thanks Sehraci.....that helps with the MA......I have a +1/+1 set made by Zysha, looks like that one might be tricky to duplicate.

Not looking for recipes......just the stuff thatw a spublished on the news page and stuff we have all talked about here many many times but which is difficult to find with search function not working. I remember for example that the "patch news" said soemthing to the effect that the patch changed:

HA 40-60% PF
MA 25-40 %
LA 10-25%

As to secrets, here's my policy. Someone gives me a recipe, I keep it confidential; I figure if someone is gonna save me from hours working a spreadsheet simulator or chasing mats, I gotta respect their wishes in this regard. However, if I figure out a recipe on my own, then it's "public information".

The funny think is I can see certain players saying "Hey sid, I wasted xx Kiroyka mandible, yy Tyrakoo Leather, ...... yada yada yada based on YOUR post so get started replacing them for me".

Thanks much. That's pretty much what I has though my list wasn't as expansive....I didn't have ranged weps for example. I did have a few "tolerances" tho where say 99.6 would give me a 100.
