Anyone else stuck in the character creation screen?

My client went out of synch a phew hours ago, i closed it and tried to relaunch ryzom... it all goes well until i select my character and hit play. The screen fades to black for a minute and fades back to the selection screen... cant go past that

PS: tried making another character on the same server and same thing happened, in Arispotle that is. While on the French server i managed to get in without any trouble

Same happened around the middle of December, they fixed it after a few days. Most likely a log in server needs kicked =).

Seems a lot of us are.. Must be a server side issue. Im on the English server so cant cooment on the others...

I just discovered this game today. I must say the first day have been bad, lots of disconects.

Don't get discouraged because of the disconnects mate, they are very rare - the game is just hiccuping atm... hopefully they'll get it fixed soon!

Same thing's happening to me. I hope it's just that the server's down or something. I've spent like the last 24 hours downloading the client and it not working so I had to redownload it and then I had to copy it to my documents to deal with the vista security arse and then there was another problem and I had to figure out to change it from direct x to opengl. The textures are messed up but I'm not too fussed about that. I just wanna try it out, man.

Arispotle is down and it doesn't seem like it will go back up. Aniro is probably still up, though. We have a guild there for English speakers.
