Cost saving idea?

As I was looking around the intenet for anything that would come close to the complexity and depth of Ryzom, I didn't by the way, I noticed several MMO's had a translator engine within the game. I don't know how expensive or accurate these are, but it seems it would make financial sense to have all on one server instead of 2,3 or more. If these translator engines are reliable, maybe the *prays with gusto* new owners will consider this option to save a little money in the beginning, not even sure how much this would save, if any was saved at all. Also not sure how much it costs to run a server that could handle Ryzom. Just a thought.

yeah they typically have nice statements like that, and should you use any uncommon or regional slang, it will not translate, Took me a bit to realise I wasn't talking to a moron, it was the translation programs fault.. the first time I encountered it ^.^

Though the reduction of amount of servers is definitely a cost save

I suspect the real issue wouldn't so much be language barrier as the abrupt merging of different communities, with all that entails (cultural differences, outpost ownership, etc).
