Post all the easter eggs you've found in Ryzom!

(For those not in the know: A virtual Easter egg is a hidden message or feature in an object such as a movie, book, CD, DVD, computer program, or video game. The term draws a parallel with the custom of the Easter egg hunt observed in many western nations. (from Wikipedia))


So far I've found that the Character Selection screen has somewhat differing automated gesture animations for the characters. Such as when a female character is not holding a tool or weapon you get a set of animations that aren't in the game itself: Being flirtatious, teasingly accentuating her chest, stomping the ground then kicking it in frustration.

And of course there is the Matis female underwear. Normally when you take off your armor as a Matis female, the underwear is mostly white with slight blue/purple accents (veins/edging). But once you log out wearing no armor, the next time you log in they will be a completely different color! (They're all leaves, so the new one is somewhat dark orange with green veins, and purple edging).

These are the best I've found in all my time in the game. Anyone found better of any kind?

while creating a zorai : u can see the character casting magic spells that do not correspond to any IG.

While creating a tryker : u can see the character creating balls of magic in his hands and juggling them. Pretty cool

years ago there was a rumour that a devs face was visible in matis armour i`l search for it and edit this post with a link.

the only other one I can think of is the 'hidden' mini kizoar inside a piece of amber (the Zoari symbolism) inside the desert at secret kami oasis. I guess secret kami oasis was itself an easter egg in itself aswell.

i remember vaguely i've seen some screenies of some shape being visible when you look at the desert surface from very high above, forgot where tho... Dyron area i think

It is said that it's not allowed to modify files... the game files say something else, though:

This allow for easy customisation, because users can replace any function with their own lua code (possibly forwarding to the previous function).

And not really an egg, but still amusing that this ring server log string is in the client:

Sadly my Screenshots of those I know of crashed with my Harddrive a while back and I never got around to doing them again.

But those I know of are as follows:

1. The Face of a Dev in the Matis Armors Jewel (as shown above)

2. A Helipad in Fyros. (atop a ridge, only visible if zoooooomed faaaaaaar out)

3. A shapely lady lying in the sand near a certain dester capital. (formed by dunes and shrubery in strategic places, too only visible if zooooooooomed faaaaaaaar out)

4. a crude face in a cliff (visible from a certain iseland in Tryker)

5. A Submarine-shaped island in Tryker (if viewed from a certain angle, but this could be a mere conicidence)

6. Some shapes in certain Tree/Mesa formations in Zorai (the Hand and the Kami Head being easiest/most visible, but there are more, if zoooooomed out)

There are vague memories of more, but I´ll have to verfiy them before telling

I think the shape you're referring to is the Dragon of the Myth. I remember seeing a screenie in the french boards
