Pheadrea's Tears - Chronicles

Much time had passed in the Sanctum of the Matis Isle, where a few souls had lived together, readying themselves to face the scourge that is not just the Kitin, but evil itself, wherever it may arise to threaten the once Glorious City of Yrkanis and the Matis ways.

Friendship and laughter abounded there on that Isle, and many of the lesser Kitin known as Kipee’s were the main staple of sword and magical arts practice for the group of young Matis. Not all were brave and heroic however, in particular a Matis called Sumguy by his peers, for his was a drifters tale for the most part a story to be told at another time. Simply put, not the most well known for his bravery by any means, yet he too found some respect in the others for keeping spirits high, or down right in shock with his crudeness.

He found strength and courage from Trueheart, laughter from Dillinja, words of wisdom from Councillor Pheadrea, respect from Essefar and humility from his childhood friend Jenuwine. All this in such short time - perhaps through adversity shows the best of Homin kind?

But with news of a dark Zorai named simply as Oba; having threatened Homin kind and threatening Pheadrea, the good times once again seemed to darken down and brought a deep rooted fear in the young Matis. Indeed he was not alone, some beared arms and stood by the Councillor Pheadrea’s side when once Oba arrived in their ‘Sanctuary’. In shame but in denial to all, Sumguy simply hid away in fear, but heard as best he could his brave friends stand against him in voice.

News soon spread of this additional threat, and that of the missing Tryker Councillor (which some Matis simply put to bad luck, not their problem). Oba claimed that he had in fact kidnapped him/her and altered their appearence and their mind.

It was during this time that some Matis of the Isle decided to venture forth to Yrkanis. Reluctant to lose such friends and be again alone, Sumguy joined them in their plan.

Pheadrea arrived to look upon her young friends, noticed them leaving, and although joyful, wept, for such was the warmth of her heart for all Matis kind. And so in honour of this lady, the band of Matis bound in freindship and love for Pheadrea created the Guild that would be hence forth be known as Pheadrea’s Tears… Each tear being a Matis soul, to defend Yrkanis against evil, in all its forms. And as their emblem herald, bore the symbol of a tear… Thus begins the Chronicles of Pheadrea’s Tears….
