Brand new to the game and already loving it. I am not really a RPer, but would consider myself RP neutral (I don't mind RPing- have done it plenty-) by which I mean to say that if I am in a group that needs/wants me to be in character, I will do so, but that is not my modus operandi (I know I misspelled that). I guess what my question is relates to what percentage of the players are RPers and how friendly is the interaction between those who are in character and those who are not. I know that WoW had the problem of too many jerks messing it up for the RPers.

To answer your question Arispottle has very few Rpers - One small guild called Sharokti, Atysian traders - an Rp trading (maybe even solo?) guild and a couple more semi-rp scattered here and there...

But...

The community is extremely friendly to anyone and RPers are welcomed just like anyone else. This game does not have a loot after death option and it's most valuable assets are complex forage-craft systems so What we get as an outcome is a mature and intelligent community without any jerks whatsoever.

So Trust me, Rpr or not - you'll love this game And it is very likely that they will even RP with you

As Komissar already stated there are few "dedicated" full RP'rs out there. But due to the maturity of the player base, RP'rs are welcome, and almost everyone does some RP once and a while.
