Humour is different worldwide

I recently created a new toon called Bravegoonzer, and it seems to have caused a bit a stink, this was not my intention at all. At the same time I am also being seen as the person who made Braveganzer Quit running the community outposts, up until the letter i read saying Braveganzer was Quiting doing this I did not even know she did, but i do know that by her own actions of using a community outpost to gain support for an attackable one would surely have repercussions. Only now i am digressing a little there, My reason for creating the said offensive toon was a Joke, a laugh, a bit of fun, nothing to do with outposts at all, it was due to all the flaming that was going on in Kami chat after an op battle where once again the Kami Alliance lost, I also created another toon called Pantiloss (guess who) and nobody says anything at all about that toon, which was run around Pyre for approx 30 mins, and i may add in front of a CSR. OK maybe the guild I joined (NOT CREATED AS IT SEEMS PEOPLE ARE SAYING) was a little over the top, but again that was not directed at one individual there are a few players on the Kami alliance that seem to get very upset when they loose a battle and cannot refrain from flamming opposing team players. I have only been playing since the end of July and had some Pretty nasty words said, generally i try to ignore things like that, other than that i try to make light of the situation. but one thing I DO NOT DO is resort to foul language as the likes i saw as i was logging out Bravegoonzer, and if like u quote in your letter Brave that you are a mother yourself and u would not want your children seeing the guild name i used. THEN GO WAS YOUR MOUTH OUT WITH SOAP AND WATER. because the likes of F%%k OFF and MOTHERF&*** in caps too are not what i want my grandchildren reading either. So for the Guild name i apologise for that, for creating 2 seperate toons called Bravegoonzer and Pantiloss It is a joke people, Humour all over the world maybe different, but can u really getting hanged for having a laugh, oops maybe u can. CALM DOWN DEARS, ITS ONLY A GAME!!

Least he got a chance to say what he wanted to say.

I disagree it's not PURE flame. A semi-apology, a couple of points and then a few flames ;) . Least he had the decency to admit to it.

Tho i agree the actions taken were a pretty innaporopiate way of dealing with a factional problem. Unfortuantly the actions taken isolated an indvidual.

Arispotle will feel a loss without the Comunity Outposts. However, (and i know im sticking my head out on the line a bit here) for brave to quit the COP's from one person's stupidity. I dunno, i expected more resolve from her.

Instead of handing the OP's out why not let people continue the great work she started. But i guess it's past all that.

Anyways this is my opinion. If you don't like it thats fine. The beauty about everything creative is that it's subjective.

Locked.

Its very commendable that you 'owned up' and apologised, and a good sign that the thread lasted as long as it did with no flames against you. Unfortunately with the current attitudes in the community I can't see this becoming anything other than a flamefest if left for any length of time.

Now that we've heard from both "sides" of this issue I hope everyone can let it drop and trust that the situation will be resolved by the CSR team privately.

On a general note, all harrassment reports are investigated by the team and I urge everyone to take screenshots if they see, or are subject to, any rude/harrassing behaviour and send in a ticket using the ingame system. As we've seen these past few days, bringing things to the forums only results in recriminations and bad feelings all round.

Thanks,
