The lore tells us that i times past Great Heroes arose which united all homins and drove back the Kitin Threat. These people had to work to build trust and kinship between the races and the factions. What homins today best display those abilities ?

-Which Homins most demonstrate their generosity of time and spirit to help homins out, unselfishly (powerleveling guildies for OP battles doesn't count) healing or afflicting "out of team" to better prepare homins, regardless of race or faction, to face the kitin threat ?
-Which Homins most demonstrate the generosity of resources giving away boss or sup mats, a few of this or that, cats, OP mats, crafted items, whatever to homins in need regardless of race or faction ?
- Which Homins most demonstrate the generosity of knowledge freely offering tips and tricks, information i.e improved stanzes, mat locations, PR Routes, sup node statuses, boss pop times to homins regardless of race or faction ?
-In sort, which homins best demonstrate the original ideals of the Ryzom community ?

By definition, a "winner" must win something. If you'd care to add to the prize kitty, please list in a subsequent post. Though I suspect many of the recipients will in turn offer the prizes to the community at large:

whens the timeframe from?

I.E does it have to be within the past month? bcuase there are a few names i would put down for people who helped me out when i first started.

Also can one person win more than once?

The intended criteria is for someone you have observed has consistently been of generous of spirit to all homins, not just any individual or subgroup in particular. Like if peeps spent all day:

a) just helping fellow guildoids
b) just helping fellow faction
c) just helping players they wanna flirt with
d) just helping n00bs as potential recruits
e) was helpful for a time but now not so inclined.

I wouldn't think that would rise to "Hero of Atys". Is your vote going to a person who :

a) when group wipes, always takes the death train (and DP) and comes back to rez everyone else.
b) will always take a long hike to rez friend or stranger in region
c) will always offer sup / boss mats to someone rather than hoard them even though they don't have need at the moment
d) would never consider killing a digger

If ya wanna look at it from an RP perspective, what single person do you think all races and both factions could get behind in a "United Atys" ?

Just to give ya an idea of what names been sent in so far, in alphabetical order:

Oh yeah and to prevent any factionalized "ballot stuffing" and in spirit of what criteria are, must get at least 1/3 of ya votes from the faction ya dont belong to. Neutered folks (neutrals) votes will be alloted to faction by race simply cause I can't think of anything better.

And as to last question, sponsor and previous winners would be ineligible.

PS.....gonna need some clip to come thru on that buckler prize if anyone willing to help.

Sorry couldnt help myself, but it just goes along with the general ideology that anyone that kills a digger is a bad/horrible person and cant help others...

a Homin that i seen as very helpful to all and shares or crafts for any and every one is Uliaryn of the Knights Leviers. no that is a spectaular person in this game,even made me a boosted set of healing amps 116%/116% with her own mats. she has a nomination for me.

There are a few players I consider "heroes" following your criteria who no longer seem to be playing the game (for over a year in fact ). Can they be nominated ?
