Okay, am i the only one that _HAS_ to crash at least one time every time i login since these recent patches/removals/patches?

today i crashed twice (so far) and am trying for a 3rd time. whats with the instability? is it the servers or is it my client?

**EDIT** thanks mover :)

probably client* issue as i dont have any crashes ;-)

* more specifically your windows issue with wrong/different dll's/drivers that are causing instability in client.
not that this cures your crashes, but when this patch appeared first (first coming, not the second ;-) , then i was crashing too (running ryzom in linux), but then i found out that i had old version of mfc42.dll/msvcrt.dll/msvcp60.dll. (in windows, i have 6.02.4130.0/7.0.260.2534/6.02.3104.0 version on those and it's stable)

The first time I login after a patch I crash, after that I'm fine.

Most people are reporting crashing on the "relaunch" after a patch.

In addition, 1) a great many people are reporting a crash to desktop every time they "plant a flag" (create a landmark) and 2) are also winding up with all the HUD windows repositioned on each reolog. For me, playing at 1920 x 1200, I find all my windows squeezed down toa 800 x 600 box from the lower left hand corner out.

I haven't tested it extensively, but since unchecking the "Full SCreen" box and playing in "Window Mode", I haven't had a crash when planting a flag (only tried 2). After one try at logging after this chage, I didn't find my HUD windows all repositioned also. So while it appears to be a workable "workaround", I dont wanna put too much faith in it as a 100% temporary solution till I get a few days unde rmy belt.
