Hall of fame questions

I was just looking at the Chronicles of Ryzom. Specificly the Hall of fame. I wanted to see what this was all about because on Matis, in the norther region not far from Yrk, I had seen a Hall of fame statue with a temple in construction (10% I believe). So that got me curious.
Upon viewing the Hall of fame page, I decided to check the harvester list on Matis (Arispotle) (one of my new character is a harvester I want to specialize). I see there are about 83 guild in there and 440 people.
The more I looked at the list the more I noticed things and the more I questions were poping into my mind. So here goes.
1) The score column actualy represent what ?
ex: the lowest score sorted on character is 10. But 10 what ?
Is it XP as in 10XP, 10K XP, 10G XP ?
Knowing this, I would know what it would take for me to be there one day.
2) The Faction doesn't have Neutral. Any reason why ?
3) The Ranking choices are : Total, Faction, Site, Acte. I am not sure I understand.
Total is easy to understand.
Faction, by Faction whomever is in one, I guess.
Site, no idea !
Acte, no idea !
4) Does this list actualy list everybody ? All players (besides Neutrals) ?
5) What are the Temple constructions about and why are not they finished and what are their requirements/needs ?

The Hall of Fame is a remainder from a major ingame event, the Temple construction wars.
Scores in the hall of fame are purely for that event, and the people who participated in it.
It was a conflict between the Karavan and Kami, so neutrals were not part of the scoring system, Neutrals were advised that if they wanted to affect the outcome, they should aid the trailing side... a couple actually did, most just contributed to whichever side they were most sympathetic too, or avoided the entire episode.
It involved harvesting special mats from PvP areas, then crafting them into components for the rival temples, or killing the people attempting to do so. As it encouraged killing harvesters and crafters, there was a degree of moral uncertainty to it.
The Site refers to who contributed to that regions temple, and the Acte to specific phases within the event (poor translation of Act ? )..
My gripe with the Hall of Fame is the way the temples show global fame as default, and you have to specify to see the scorers for the temple you are visiting... I beleive it should be the other way around.

It would be cool if we could access a ranking database of all the players, no matter what Factions and see how we rank up compared to them in all the different skills we have. You could then put up personnal challenges on geting higher then someone.

There s such a ranking on chronicle.ryzom.com :
http://chronicles.ryzom.com/?page=fame2 ... leau=total
you will find the rank of all the players that participated at this event in fight dig and craft.
You have also access to the other severs ranks.

I don't think this idea will be too popular, folks like keeping others guessing. That's part of the reason titles are often changed.

With levels capped at 250, there isnt much that a mechanic-based ranking system will show.
For combat skills, you can try them against other players, but the outcome depends a lot on context.
For non-combat skills its even murkier. Is a player who digs lots of easily accessible supremes better than someone who will arrange for a team to guard them so they can dig the specific supreme from under an aggro spawn they want for a particular recipe? The former will be producing lots more mats.
Its ultimately players personal reputation which counts, and that isnt something which the game can quantify.

I agree on that I really wouldn't like having peeps checkin my stats and progress if you wanna know what my skill is at come and talk to me this is a mMorpg and second "M" stands for multiplayer which imply interactions with others.
