Went to the noobie Ranger races competitions today, and had a blast before real life took me away. It made me want to stay on my Silan character, and raise him to whatever level possible. I LOVE Silan...it's beautiful and fun. It's a great place for new players to start out, and with events like that going on, it shows what a killer game we have here!

Maybe we could all go back to silan...
They could import lixie and friends there after nerfing them down...

Then would be easier to patch after as it is much smaller..
That is IF they manage to find out where they stored that patch: maybe the yubo ate it

Tho, I agree i love Silan too

Maybe thats what it is, the fact that it's so compact. The mainland can be pretty large and forboding, especially to wussy sensitive types like me!
On Silan I can make a difference in a new players experience in a more direct way than on the ML.
I'm not knocking the ML, but let's just say that my cousin (alt) is going to stay on Silan for a bit.

Only problem on Silan is certain guilds spamming new players with guild invites, not only is it annoying but it potentialy looses new players to the game as they only see this and not the true side of Atys.

Wish thease guilds would learn to recruit properly and not spam people as the join.

I completely agree with you on this subject... I see it as a ethical problem that should be delt with within the community... Just everyone refuse to provide any crafts for the guild(s) and watch them implode from their mass recruiting.

Maybe we should, as a community, define what is and is not appropriate for guild recruiting efforts. Then, as a community, do what we can to enforce those standards.
