On several occasions, I was looking to get infos on harvesting to understand a few things. One of the link that showed up alot in the search result is the Ultimate Harvesting guide done by vguerin. But unfortunetly, its links are all dead.

However, I did find another place of it and here is the most import extract of it (why have it hosted elsewhere and not here ?) :

After months without a host and a complete loss of data, Melinoe now has a new website. I have been able to restore "The Ultimate Harvesting Guide" (Many many thanks to Hexa from the Leanon server).

This guide needs updating (quite obvious since I had to redo it), and some of that will be upcoming. For now I wanted to post the resource again for those that may gain a few tips from it.

Folks will have to reregister (from a couple thousand userbase to 2 digits, ouch !)

I will repost this thread once I update Part 1 to reflect what new players will experience on Silan. Hopefully I can find the rest of the guides and info to repost as well.

These might be good guides... the fact is that it requires to be registered on their forum to be able to read them. I already have too many forums memberships at the moment so I'd somehow appreciate not to have to register on another one.

I think that, if they put that section readable by registered people only, it might be because they want to keep this knowledge for their own members only. So I strongly suggest that, if the content of these guides should be posted here, it should be with their permission.

The links work fine, as far as the registration... only way to keep bots and such out. Kalindra, you aren't paying for the game either... no shock registration is an issue with you.

Browserice, my guide has been around for a few years now... It is where it belongs., do not repost it.

But the links I found in this forum were dead links. That's why I looked for it on Internet.

They dead links cause his old site crashed... in all honesty i think it is best to experience and learn how to dig on your own and not follow a guide that is out dated. Also it the guide is bias towards one way of digging which isnt piratical in my eyes.
