[FAQ] Can't Disable background downloader in Vista / Permissions problems in Vista

Symptom:You have added BackgroundDownloader = 0; to your client.cfg but the downloader still pops up every time.
-With Vista's User Account Control active the Default overrides it.
-Moving your Ryzom folder to your user documents directory will fix this issue as it gives user full control.
-This also corrects any other permissions problems that may exist in your Ryzom installation under Vista. Advanced users may still wish to manually adjust their permissions. Your user account needs read, write, and execute permissions in the installation directory.
