If I understand you correctly, I have the same issue; I log in, get to the character selection screen, and selecting 'play' just re-loads the selection screen. I was connected earlier and timed out... I figured the server went down, but the main page still shows Arispotle as green.

yea i'm playing somewhere else - even though i don't really want to - but um.. when ryzom keeps doing things like this i don't see how i can be expected not to -.-

Hah, I thought it was just me! My computer's been having so many problems lately...

Arispotle is currently down and the Server team is working to get it back online for logins.

The server has been up and down a few times tonight. If you select a character and bounce back to the character selection screen the server is down.

Me to, I have the same problem. But I see that they are saying the server is currently down. Thats to bad, but I suppose I can wait patiently. Anyone have any ideas when it will be coming back up again?

The latest patch was a big one... only fair to accept a few bugs...
though this is far worse than i've seen before.
Maybe they will just remove the last patch...
