Sound effects back please, at least a bit

Well, after all the problems we got, finally we returned to Atys.

Atys? It doesn't seems to me, no more. We asked to lower kipee shouts and devs lowered everything down!

Was in Fount, so silence... was in Void, so silence.... full of mobs and they just seemed sleeping. This is not Atys, it become as any other mmo around where the world is not 'live'.

Please, lower only the kipee screams but turn back on the others!!

Or tune it a bit better so we don't lose the 'feeling' of Atys being a 'living' planet.

I agree that less sounds across the board is probably not such a good thing.

Maybe the change could be reverted and the kipee sound simply replaced with something quieter, something distinctively insectlike, maybe a sort of trilling.

Have the homin combat screams been reduced? If not, please reduce, replace, or remove them.

hey i like some of those screams :p (homin's screams) .. at least for a fyros, they match my character :)

i've not been able to notice other sounds yet (actually played with sound off for the halfhour i was on today) but the 'living planet' thing gcaldani was pointing at - i second it

I agree, it is a little too quiet.

Hint for Devs: Old Kipee sound.

all of the above - reduced sounds good, but now amost nothing. Can't tell if anything's sneaking up on me either :S "less likely to yell" is great": "unlikely to yell" - not so great.

Also, don't mess with the call frequency, but tune down the volume of some calls instead...

I have have my sound turned up abit more now so hear more of the other ambient sounds which is nice.

Previuosly to avoid being deafened by kippees etc had it down abit more so was losing the quieter stuff.

Havnt harvested yet but i understand you cant look around and with less large animal noise PR may be a little more risky.

All in all a little weird at first but jury still out for me.
