Patch Failed??

I know today was patch day and the servers were down.
Now everytime I try to launch ryzom I get as far as the patcher and I get the message: Patch Failed.
Is there a problem with the server or is the problem my end?

I had exactly the same problem, everytime it failed I just loaded the client back up and it never worked, until I minimized it (not sure if that had anything to do with it working, but when I did it downloaded the full patch) while it was downloading.
Problem I get now is that "Stream does not contain at least 6357031 bytes for check" I'm looking around the forums for a fix, but can't find one

Yup same prob here, first try the patch failed

It seemed to download on the second try but now I also have "stream does not contain at least 6357031 bytes for check" message...

Got same problem with the patch failing. The Downloader just keeps saying patch failed then crashing.

I still have the same problem. I tried the minimize method but still no go.
You must have been partially lucky

Update:
If you have the "stream does not contain at least xxxxxx bytes" error, the approved fix is as follows:
- Open the Ryzom folder on your harddrive
- Make a copy of your \save\ folder so you have a backup
- Open the \save\ folder (not the backup) and delete the file "string_client.pack"
- Start the game!
Once you have verified that you can log in as normal, open up the backup version of the \save\ folder and delete the "string_client.pack" from there too

Starting the game I see that the downloader is installing the patch but at the end it says "Patch failed" and a popup appears with only 2 choices : Help or Ok.
Clicking either one of them does nothing. So you have 2 bugs with the patch now.
I can only force the game to abend.
Please do mention if you are investigating the popup not working properly.
