Quick questions:

My wife and I have recently started playing and are really enjoying Rysom. Could you please advise what you think the minimum level you should be before leaving the island?

Also are you at a major disadvantage if you do not complete all the missions on the island?

no you are not at a "major" disadvantage, except perhaps equipment wise (free and of very good quality). As for "when" to leave the island, (the eternal question all silan inhabitants ask themselves ) I say : it is entirely up to you. Silan's main objective is to show you the ropes of the game. If you feel you can no longer learn anything from it, and it's time to move on, don't hesitate . There is no particular level to reach before leaving Silan because even at level 1 you will find creatures to grind on/auto-pop sources to dig etc.

I always say: Leave when you get bored of Silan

It's very possible to make a char, leave the island and get your very first levels on the mainland without trouble. Should you choose that route, so no worrries. =)

Thanks for the feedback folks! Will stick the island out until curiosity gets the better of us. I don't think that will be too long though
