I was approached by Shekry and Wilan at the Fair Haven stables. They are once again looking for a home. It seems the property they had recently hoped to acquire was beyond their means.

They were seeking general information on Fair Haven and the location of the cities leadership. They did not respond to any questions nor did they acknowledge association with Akila or the Marurders. They did wander around and scout the city.

Shortly after their departure an unidentified "Old Man" appeared he was a Zoari and a member of the Black Circle.

Old Man says: If all you do is squabble, my my...How is such a place unchanged? ....Atys is like a to regular waterfall: boring. But if we put a hand in the waterwall, it creates whirlpools on the surface, and thus is far more beautiful.

You Say: Statues would do that too, really big Staues.

Old Man: Some Ripples are about to stir.... The Oba shall once again rise. You should be wise to remember that as well.

You Say: The Oba?

Old Man: The monster which haunts the Zoari. Some say he is nothing but a legend...a person whom is told to little children to scare them into bed. But some of us know better. We are not Fools. The Oba once returned and he shall do so again.

You Say: Do you know Akilia?

Old man: There is not much I do not know...ha.. Knowledge is Power after all ha ha ha.

Then he disappeared and a disembodied voice spoke to everyone around the area.

Voice says: ....Pero....Pero...Remember....Listen...The Oba...Remember...Listen

the Shaman Oba first appeared in October 2004 when he kidnapped Quintin, the Tryker ambassador with the aid of his ugly sidekick Wormbreath, backstory of the event here

Ohh, back in the days when the mages used staffs and the meleers used pikes. But what caught my attention were the titles. "Shaman" and "Black Mage"? Are those old titles or did they get custom titles? If so that's a nice touch. Yrkanis should get King as a title instead of being named Kingyrkanis.
