...so I filmed a BUNCH. Thing was, I wanted the screen to be big enough so that people could read what was on my screen, so they could see the whole speech and all that.
I record at half size though, although since I use the highest rez it's too small. Or something like that... in other words you cant read the chat.
So, I decided to go the smaller/basic approach. I typed up some key parts from the speech and some nice shots of everyone sitting around having fun. And of course, the fireworks. They were magical.

Yeh I changed the font size to it's largest.
It's wierd, my PC's res is set at highest possbile...1280x1024..when the game runs it's at it's highest setting too..(forget what that is.)
When I record (Using Fraps by the way, thanks Anatti!) I record it at half the size of the game screen, to save some space. Saving space is important, because within the 30 minutes of redoring that merging I had used like 10 gigs or something.
So when I watch the clips on my native PC size, (and on other sizes) you can only read the text in raw Fraps format, which is HUGE, file size.
So to make these movies less than a billion MB's I have to shrink em, and one of the first things that goes bad is text.
If anyone has better ideas, I need to know. I wanna be able to record more "speeches" at events and stuff.
We need to start a directors group!
