I have been working on a lil movie using only the Ryzom Ring for a week or so, off and on.
It came out pretty good, minus all the editing and camera errors. Oh well, they'll get better, if I make more.
The Ring is awesome for movies. If you had a few players to act as actors, you could do almost anything.

Great work, I can't wait to see the next episodes!
Just imagine voice acting instead of subtitles - I'd be tempted to give it a try if I were a native speaker...

The first peculiar thing I noticed was the open sky, funny there is no canopy in the ring...
The audio cuts are sometimes quite hard and sudden, and the rushing rain drops out several times.
There was a typo in part two, "There. in the distance. Thier camp."
A few issues with continuity - The Zoraï wear violet hairdos in the first episode, later they are bald like their leader, B'nan's outfit changes colours from beige to green and back again during episode 2, and Viol suddenly wears different armour during her fight, as do the Zoraï; the gingo encounter starts at dawn and unfolds in bright daylight without noticeable passing of time.
Also at first I thought the outfits of the trykers change from during the "Goo camp fight" to "The next morning" until I understood that it was actually B'nan sleeping - some "Yawn!" might help there...
The episodes are titled "Our time in Atys" and "Our Atys Story, Part 2" with the end title saying "Our Time in Atys, Part 1"

Now that might sound like a whole lot of nitpicking, don't let that put you off. I still think it's a great feat

hehe yeh all this stuff I knew was there, but had "printed" the movie so many times by then it was very late and time for bed.
I will probably fix them, and make final copies.
I was originally going to do voice acting, but only me and Leala were able to, so decided to try subtitles (which I need to slow down sometimes) to see how it worked.
The Ring is amazing. With the Ring and some actors (and I will let you guys know bout that hehe) you could make anything at all almost.

I have neither voice acting nor recording experience, but I offer my voice for this project

So, if you are re-cutting, and do indeed go for voice-over/synchro, be sure to PM me.
