Ryzom downloader error - can't download/install

I had downloaded Ryzom several months ago and only installed now (didn't have enough space until I upgraded my harddrive).

I managed to get past the 'Error1' message when connecting, by correcting in from within the file, however I was unable to patch properly. No error mesages when patching, but terribly slow to finally not going anywhere at all.

This forum suggested to run the Ryzom downloader, which however was not included the the version I had installed.

I therefore uninstalled Ryzom, and I'm now trying to reinstall using the Ryzom downloader I downloaded from this site.

Just when the downloader starts the installation, in crashes, stating an error has been encountered
AppName: client_background_downloader_rd.exe AppVer: 1.0.0.1 ModName: stlport_vc645.dll
ModVer: 4.1.2000.1111 Offset: 00048dda

I would be grateful for any help.

Just to add that I'm running XP.

Sorry for posting several times, just thought to give the full picture.
Now the downloader is crashing again, so either way there seems to something wrong with that application.

Is Ryzom staff aware and handling this?

Are you installing it to the same drive that has the installer on?
What new error message is it giving?
Are you running XP or Vista?

Get the answers to those questions and pop into klients to see if a CSR can help you :)

Disk space error could be to do with temp files, start in safe mode, then go to run and type %temp%

Then try deleting all its contents.
