About titles

I think this has already been suggested to Nevrax long ago but one more can't hurt..

We are seeing introduction of new titles with Jackpot which is good and leads me to think that introducing titles may not be a huge development effort.

Now there is a serious imbalance in title repartition between melee and craft skill trees..
- Melee has different titles for each branche: master heavy swordman, Axeman, maceman and so on: 10 titles for melee and 4 for magic (I include magic as it is part of weapon crafting...)
- Crafting titles for weapon craft do not really reflect the skill which is mastered:
Master Heavy Weapon Crafter is the same for 2h Axe, sword, mace and pike.
If I am not mistaken it gives 4 titles for 11 branches (or is it 3) including amp craft.. and even amp craft wording of the title is not really good reflexion of the skill mastered..

Please add titles to the weapon craft tree:
Master Heavy Axe Crafter
Master Heavy Sword Crafter
....
Master Light sword Crafter
Master Dagger crafter and so on...

More diversity and also would allow other player to know immediately what we can craft. :)

I agrre with you that it is not really needed for jwls and armur..

Tho i still think it would be a good addition for weapons.

We could choose the one to display and would not change anything for potential buyer:
If I have master axe or master heavy 2H: people would still ask:
Can you craft 2H sword? :)

I think titles to show if you have mastered all of a group would be nice.
Such as have the Master Heavy Axe Crafter etc, but then another title to show if you mastered all 2 hand weapon crafts, and perhaps another if you master all weapon crafting.
I guess it depends how hard it is to add titles as to how far it goes.

Though something to differentiate between someone who masters one jewelry/armor tree and someone who masters all of the trees would be especially nice. In my opinion a Master Jeweler should actually be a master of all jewelry, not a master in one and level 150 or such in others.

a master jewel crafter isn't really a master jewel crafter unless then have mastered crafting each piece of jewelry. They are the master of each individual piece.

If this would be introduced, however, it would have to be in such a way that the titles were not taken from people who already earned them, and that would be more trouble than it is worth.

A little creative twist on MANY of the titles wouldn't hurt either ;)
And yes, especially referring to Melee and craftings :p
