The merry-go-round (impressions,suggestions)

Well after having tried this new sink I can say one thing for sure - it works. The money sinks in there just like that :)

And the amount of tokens/flowers/cats it gives is not bad well maybe if you could only give a little bit more prizes then it would be even better. but...

What annoyed and saddened me was this.
/rantmode on

we're talking about Yrk here

Does anyone know where do homins usually hang out for socializing and polite conversation? - exactly the stables... For no better place to go. Now thiscasino could be a perfect gathering place. Make it outside if you want to have more homins in it , whatever.

But the way it is now - hard to find, no accessories for homin recreation - just a couple of dirty sacks at the foot of a little wheel... What is that a casino??? A pigsty rather...

A casino is something colorful, something shiny, something that attracts homins with bright lights and nice music and go-go dancers . This is indeed a good idea on tha part of GF but why not fully implement it and make it a real recreation facility for homins as well as a money sink!

/rantmode off

The Fyros Jackpot is in the Pyr bar which I thought was a great location. If there is something I'd like to change it'd be a bit more interactivity with the thing, making it more of a mini-game than just click-wait-win/lose. Coming up with something like that isn't a priority though, I think.

Neat new thing though!

Haven't been able to get in-game yet to try it but in the great tradition of being prepared I would suggest creating a club Atysian Gamblers Anonymous (AGA) in readiness for those who become hooked and addicted :P

Nah that's all in vain, you'll know them by their titles :)

So far looks like this thing is crashing the servers :) The sink just can't digest all those dappers :D

The 'casino' is certainly a step in the right direction for giving A Homin somewhere to 'invest' his dappers.
Now the gambling laws of Atys are relaxed........
I think it is time to ressurect the noble Zorai tradition of .......Mektoub Racing for financial gain !!! :D .

Details to follow if enough interest is shown ;)

Aye that was quite often done in the past :) Usually aggro areas were used :)
The best route was from Hidden Source to Knoll of descent :) fast and dangerous :) Just the way real men should race :)

I might have known it! Another ingenious tryker-run cartel to lighten our pockets and add ballast to their luxury beachfront properties  .

I'd like to be able to include a casino/lottery in the Ring. To finally earn dappers from scenario building.

I agree the Yrkanis casino should be moved into the bar like the other three. :)

But, I do think the amount of flowers/cats it gives is just plain bad. 40 q150 crystals and 8 flowers (that only last 10 minutes) are not worth a million dapper and over two hours of playing. As it is, nobody cares about the regular prizes, everyone plays the wheel only to get the rare ones. It's a race to collect all of those and then never touch the wheel again.

Not to say that's that bad, but I'd prefer it if the regular prizes alone were reason enough to play. If people would spin the wheel for a while to gather a stack of dexterity flowers for a foraging session, a stack of constitution flowers for an outpost battle, a stack of crystals for a hunting session, or some fireworks for the next Festival. Would give the casino a more permanent role even after the novely of the rare toys wears off.

The rare prizes should be a nice bonus that you sometimes get while playing for the regular ones, not the other way around.
