Just wondering if there was any status for Patch 1?

I'm anxious for Magicians Gloves and the Player Vendors!

We were hoping to have the patch to you by now. But with the lag issues and other bugs that needed attention first, we had no choice but to put Patch 1 on the back burner for now

Patch 1 is on the test server now and the devs are making time to look at it and iron out all the details so that we can have that patch as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience guys.

hehe ... not ot mention any other games. But in the world of MMO's the majority of them would have rushed out the Publish first and then claimed to be working on the issues at hand.

I for one will gladly wait as long as is needed for any additional content if it means a better platform to build on.

Honest open communication about what is really happening is the only way to keep a strong happy community. Keeping issues in the dark and leaving your customer base wondering if anyone knows makes things grim and unpleasnt, and the atrophy rate high.

Kudos to the Ryzom team for staying in good communication with it's players! There could be more me-thinks but so far this is the most in-touch I've been with any game.
