Do we have the same rights?

Hello, i speak to u all from Cho and im confident i speak for most of the other players on Cho, our server is now a little more then 6 months old and we had one PVP event, all other events where copy paste events from Aris (Dios trek)

I believe i pay the same amount of money as the people on Aris and i also believe we in fact have the right for a event on our own, with our own story, Cho isnt Aris. I know most people will respond with it is Cho who cares! Well i do.

Lets say there are 200 people on Cho (i dont have the right number no1 will give u that) 200 x 15 euro is stil 3.000 euro. Not a world figure, i know, but i feel we are necklegted by Gameforge. It is easy to blame Nevrax for that, but in fact GF knew they where buying 4 seperate realms.

The current event on Aris has upset quiet some people on Cho since we been waiting for something to happen on our server for so long now, we are in need of an invasion what lets us defend Zora, travelers who got lost or whatever... We need something to bond over, to look back at and say: wow we did that!

We have been asking that even when the old CSR team was here and frankly people are getting bored with the grind of everyday Atys life and i even know some who quited the game purely because of this.

All i ask is a little consideration from u, Gameforge, to gives us a little value for our money.

Regards

i agree with mokdarion. I also think events will help to draw more people to cho too.

Myself, I heard that when we had the grand trek, part of story line, that they would be having scheduled events once per month.. have not seen that.
Have seen many treks, but they are small treks to shall people who cant get there how to get there

Majority of theme that I can see is rebuilding a lost world, ok cool... why not do this, have some special crafting events, rebuild some stuff.. treks are great.. But have some stuff pertaining to the theme as well. And from what read it is to explore and reclaim a lost world..

Do something.... Please.. is great game, but build it, or let us build something to make ti better?
suggestions on that might help?

So.... would you like the same event that is currently on Arispotle to be held on Cho too, or not?

I'd like to see both shards have their own unique events too, but copy-pasting events just is less work. If they have to make unique events for both servers, each server will only have half as much events. :o

I do agree Cho needs events too, of course. It's not fair this event is only on Arispotle. (Though if they're already planning an event on Cho next week that won't be on Arispotle, forget I said anything :) )

Best wishes and I hope something gets sorted for you soon.

The event team is still new and the CSR team is still under staffed so they are doing what they can.

I was not able to take part in the events as well and I play on Aris, the events so far are set for the UK prime time and I work days in the US. The old events team would hold events 2 times a day or on the weekends so everyone could take part.

About events on Cho, it may be that the Devs setup the events and hand them off to the CSRs and the event is setup for a server that has more players. The Dev team would need to make a scaled down event for the small player base on Cho and my not have the time to do this.

About having different events then what runs on Aris, all the server so far have had the same events, there is a story they are trying to unfold(rather slowly).

I also think it's not fair that some paying customers are not able to take part in the CSR events but can see why GF is having problems. I have nothing against anyone that plays on Cho but I don't think Ryzom was ready for another server.

I think you are perfectly right in claiming that the players on Cho are as much paying customers as any one else - thus they should have their equal share of events.

But realistically...

if that is indeed close to the right number of players there, then perhabs its time for something like this...

Time is money... event time also... Most important thing must be to keep the game afloat - even if it means a server merger.

How would a server merge happen while obviously guilds hold the same outpost on different servers, i predict they will keep cho open, but keep it neglteced (offering free transfer to Aris) untill they can re-populate it properly.

Just a guess, obviously ;)

Tr808,

Multiple CSR staff have already spoken to you about this issue and given you our valid reasons behind why this particular event did not happen simultaneously on Cho. That is unless you are just looking for other answers and don't care what the Events Team told you, which would be pointless as this thread is addressed to us.

We are not neglecting Cho, or at least, don't intend to. Due to technical reasons, one of which would be bringing in Akilia Ash Storm, there wasn't enough people to bring her and her armies down. Cho simply is incapable of handling her. Even Arispotle had major difficulties. There are other technical reasons of course, however, I will not go into that at this time. However, question if I may, if you "did not want a copy and paste event", why all of this over Arispotle's event?

Everyone was notified in advance and in a public setting (ingame and on the event forums) of each event step before it happened. If you chose not to attend, that is your reasons and no one else's. Theoretically, you had the same opportunity as everyone else.

But none the less, we are planning an event for Cho only, but unfortunately, we could not run them simultaneous at the time time. Sorry for the inconvenience, but that is reality. But do make note that at the same time, this event was not played on any other shard this week either.

okay, wow.. i'm sorry mate but that post was exactly what the majority of Arispotle would say too.. i dont usualy post negative posts but CMON MAN, we've ALL been dying to 'defend zora' or fight off a kitin invasion and a bajillion other things (see the thread about old people and what they miss or whatever) so really Cho or Aristpotle, Leanon or Aniro, we ALL want kitin invasions, your not the only one and bieng on Cho is no different as us.

and how in Jena's Purple Hair do you expect the CSR to run events on both Aris and Cho at the same time? i'm sorry but personally i dont think i can be in two places at once. i'd love to, but i can't.. its not physically possible. so unless someone comes up with some magical cloning device, its not gonna happen. events will be run on different times - especially with such an understaffed CSR. wait.. i have an idea.. why not apply to staff the CSR, then you'll know whats going on too!? *gasp* what an idea?

--sorry .. rant over O.o

(was that my first rant ever? i think it was.. :p )

ooh and EDIT::: I agree 100% with Tydamus. mate your doing a great job and i appreciate it big time! even if others dont *shrugs*
*two thumbs up*
