Hey all, just downloaded the client and am feeling pretty excited.

Game looks awesome, like the unique ideas, have played FF11, WoW, Phantasy star universe, starwars galaxies, anarchy, knights online, and some others i cant think of now.

Have always wanted a game that offers this kind of community imput, more mature players, better enemy animation and interaction and some of the other great features this game promises. Also I love the idea of mastering ever skill on a single character through dedication rather than having a hundred random alternates.

The only thing I am still unsure of is the quality of the free trial, having played many poor titles I am dubious of purchasing before getting a decent feel for the title. Exactly what is included in the free trial - i.e. level caps, limited areas, timed access, etc?

Ah, found answers through reading the forums. Don't worry about replying now. Thanks anyway, I'll see you online + probably will subscribe if its as great as it sounds!

I believe the main limits of the trial is the area and level cap. (ie: your stuck on a small island and can't get past 21)

Glad you found some answers in the forums. I've stated this several times and until it becomes a message of some form when first joining us on Silan it needs repeating. Silan is a mission based environ to help you with gameplay and give some much needed supplies for your (hopefully) trip to the mainland.
Once there missions will be a thing of the past unless you like that type of play. what the mainland does offer is freedom! Do what you want, when you want. While the mainland does have hundreds of missions they are fame based missions for either faction or civilzation(fyros,tryket etc etc) and in some cases a few dappers. The days of getting armor/weapons and XP/lvls as a reward are behind you. You advance on your own merit using the skills learned on Silan and experience you will gain as you go.
